Why Volunteering Matters
Great post on volunteering over at Dustin's Tech Notes.

"I have been volunteering Tuesday nights (which usually run into
Wednesday mornings) for over a year now and can honestly say it has
been one of the most rewarding things I have experienced in my
entire life. I find it so hard to explain what I’ve experienced but I
feel I’ve gained so much more than I’ve given. I’ve made great
friends, felt true humility, laughed, cried, and felt like I had a
purpose. So you ask why is it such a great experience? Why should I
volunteer? and most of all does it really matter if I volunteer? After
all there are a lot of other people out there with more time on their
hands than I. Well here are my thoughts."
